In August, I participated in a Flashes of Hope photo shoot at an oncology camp in Pennsylvania. Flashes of Hope is an organization that recruits photographers to create portraits of children who have cancer. You can learn more or donate at http://www.flashesofhope.org/. The experience was both humbling and searing. I hope to participate again next year. This is one of my favorite images from the day.
