Crystal Plaza Bat Mitzvah
I’ve loved working with this family twice now. As each of their daughters has become a bat mitzvah and celebrated with them both times at the at the Crystal Plaza, I’ve marveled and how kind and genuine and appreciative these people are. I adore this family. It’s clear from spending time with them the they’re super close and they all mean a lot to each other. That alone means I’m going to be able to create wonderful photographs because there will genuine expressions and heartfelt interactions between them. Each bat mitzvah was an emotional day and I captured tears in photographs at both events. From the pre-bat mitzvah portraits to the family portrait shoot at the synagogue to the glorious afternoon at the Crystal Plaza, each of these young women was a pleasure to work with and I know that their parents are responsible and grateful that the apples have not fallen far from the trees. This party was made great not just by Crystal Plaza with their creative, beautiful, delicious food and gracious service but by Pure Energy Entertainment (MC Brian) and by Phyllis Skolnick’s Extraordinary Productions, which was responsible for the decorations which made the ballroom even more beautiful and very personal.
